How do I invite a friend?
Create a Remote game and privately send its invitation link to a friend on another device. Keep your Room open while they take the free Place.
Read the GuideWhy is a Room unavailable?
The link may be wrong, the creator may have left before you joined, or the server may have restarted and lost the Room. Ask for a new invitation or create a new Room.

A Remote Room has only two Places. If someone else has taken the free Place, ask the creator for a new Room link.
Contact supportHow can I reconnect?
Open the same Room link in the same browser and device. KaoChess needs the locally held Place access token to recognize your Place; clearing browser data or changing device can prevent reconnection.

Your Hand shows the Cards available to you now. The public Cards page lists the default Deck recipe and each Card's description; it does not reveal anyone's hidden Hand or Deck order.

Choose Untimed, 15 minutes or 30 minutes before opening a Room. In a timed game, your Clock runs throughout your Turn, even while you choose a Card or are away. It stops on your opponent's Turn.

After a game ends, both players can request a rematch in the same Room. The fresh game swaps colors and keeps the Cadence and Deck recipe.

Rooms and games live only in server memory. A server restart loses them, including the Journal; start a new Room to play again.
